Packaging Price Settings

The rates the packaging calculator uses for board, print, laminate, die-cut, glue and forming costs. These retire the hardcoded JS constants in the calc template — edit here and every quote re-runs against the new numbers on next calc. Board default is the fallback only used when the picked stock has no cost of its own (until Mega stocks land, every stock hits this fallback).

Board (fallback)

Used when the picked stock has no cost_per_unit. Later this is replaced by Mega's per-stock rate; the fallback stays for unknowns.

Brand margins (qty matrix)

Markup % over cost per brand at each qty rung. For qty q, the calc reads the largest rung ≤ q. Typical "reducing margin" ladder: higher qty ⇒ lower %. 0% ⇒ price equals raw cost, i.e. not sellable.

Print

One row per method. Per-sheet rates are per colour split (4/0 = one side, 4/1 = second side single-colour, 4/4 = full four-colour both sides). Wastage is the extra sheets planned per run.

Die-cutting

Tooling cost scales with die perimeter (bigger box = pricier die) but never drops below the minimum. Per-sheet is the run rate.

Glue & Forming

Glue cost fires per glue-seam per unit (seam count comes from the style catalogue). Forming (assembly) fires once per part, per unit.
